As a subcontractor to Indiana Training Exports, Inc. (ITE), AIMD's founding member, Plexus Consulting Group, LLC was chosen to design and implement training programs for small- and medium-enterprise (SME) trade association executives in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The programs, funded by USAID, helped to enable the local association community to foster and sustain economic growth. During the course of this engagement, the consultants designed a course on small business association development and advocacy; facilitated an interactive, two-week workshop that combined coursework (case studies, presentations, textbook learning) with interactive and hands-on group discussions, activities and role-play. Association experts facilitated each session, encouraging participants to ask questions and to direct the discussions according to their specific needs.
